Business Process and IT Infrastructure Analysis
SSG understands the value and importance of understanding the current business processes and IT infrastructure in order to determine the most efficient means to achieve improvement. Business requirements must drive IT implementation, and SSG’s assessment of the current environment sets the foundation for improvements and streamlined efficiency. Analysis may include and addresses any or all of the following:
Business Processes Analysis
- As-Is Assessment. Description of current business processes and data flows.
- Identification of Redundancy. Identification of redundancy within the current business processes.

IT Systems Requirements Gathering
IT Systems Requirements define the functional and technical specifications of an envisioned system. SSG has extensive experience leading Requirements Gathering meetings with key project stakeholders to capture requirements in a way that is useful to both the subject matter experts and the IT development team. SSG’s requirements definition process follows standard UML documentation and includes the following:

IT Design and Development
SSG can design and develop any new IT systems following industry standard design patterns and practices, and using industry standard UML diagramming. To provide the most flexibility and easy maintenance, the system designs are multi-tiered including database design, business layer design and user interface design. SSG provides a System Architecture Document and Design Documents which includes:
- Conceptual Architecture Diagram
- Lower Platform View
- Class Diagrams
- Sequence Diagrams
- Platform View (tools utilized, etc.)
SSG has developed every tier of software applications including the database, business tier, and user interface. SSG has created web-service interfaces and develops applications using a services oriented approach. During development, SSG conducts extensive unit testing to ensure quality software deliverables.

Roll-out, Training and Production Support
SSG has provided roll-out and training support for numerous IT systems. Our roll-out support follows the priorities and input of our customers to ensure the phases of the roll-out are properly planned. In addition, we provide effective communication to potential end users and handle all training scheduling and registration. SSG also supports production applications to identify, log, triage and address any application issues or maintenance jobs that are required.

Project Management
