SSG understands the value and importance of understanding the current business processes and IT infrastructure in order to determine the most efficient means to achieve improvement. Business requirements must drive IT implementation, and SSG’s assessment of the current environment sets the foundation for improvements and streamlined efficiency. Analysis may include and addresses any or all of the following:
Business Processes Analysis
- As-Is Assessment. Description of current business processes and data flows.
- Identification of Redundancy. Identification of redundancy within the current business processes.
- Process Improvements. Identification of opportunities to streamline or improve processes to eliminate bottlenecks and unnecessary hand-offs.
- Reduce Manual Burden. Identification of key processes that can be supported by IT systems.

IT Infrastructure Analysis
- Description the current IT System architecture and strategy, including existing systems’ interfaces, data flows to external organizations and re-use across the enterprise.
- Identification of any opportunities to reduce the IT systems maintenance and hosting costs.
