Health Information Exchange

SSG has extensive experience in electronic reporting for laboratory, immunization, syndromic surveillance and health disparities data. We support meeting “Meaningful Use” of health information exchange.

Electronic Immunization Registries

SSG has managed the requirements definition, design, development and roll-out of Immunization Registries. Our extensive knowledge of vaccine management, vaccine inventory and vaccine ordering systems supports all Immunization Registry efforts. The systems include deduplication algorithms, security authorization and health information exchange.

Disease Surveillance Systems

SSG has managed the requirements definition, design, development and roll-out of Disease Surveillance Systems. Our extensive knowledge of national standard disease classification and guidelines, disease investigation workflows, laboratory reporting nomenclature and outbreak management supports our disease surveillance efforts.

Electronic Vital Records Registries

SSG lead the effort to standardized electronic birth records within Massachusetts. The web based Vitals Information Partnership (VIP) system currently contains birth records and will soon also include marriage and death certificates.

Emergency Medical Services Operations Management

SSG has developed custom software, ems OPS, to support ambulance and EMS services operations. With EMSOPS, track and manage information about your operations, personnel, and assets including the following: Employee Information, Special Teams, Scheduling, Professional Standards, Medical Information, Training, Events, Resources and Assets

Electronic Medical Record Systems

SSG has extensive experience supporting requirements definition, implementation and roll-out of electronic medical records systems. The combination of our healthcare and IT background add high value resources to EMR based projects. We are familiar with numerous national initiatives and standards including “meaningful use” HIE, HL7, CCD, X12, LOINC and SNOMED, to name a few.
