SSG Helps Massachusetts Standardize Birth Certificates

Boston, MA; March 2011 – Partnering with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, SSG has completed the implementation of a new standardized electronic birth record within the web based Vitals Information Partnership (VIP) system. This was a 2 year effort that culminated in the launch of the VIP system early this year. In addition to providing a standardized electronic birth record, the system will streamline vital record operations between hospitals, city and town clerks, and the Registry of Vital Records.

SSG continues to support the roll-out of the system to all the birthing hospitals and local municipalities within the Commonwealth.
